Based in beautiful West Sussex on the South Coast of England, a short walk from the South Downs National Park and the Sussex Coast.
For me, photography consistently emerges as my favourite pastime. It has to compete with my plans of writing a best seller, running another marathon, building a ludicrously fast electric mountain bike, restoring an old sailing boat, learning to play the piano/guitar/ukulele, etc. Yes, I'm a dreamer, occasionally flirting with reality when it rudely interrupts, but there are probably worse things to be.
I love to view the inspirational works available online and preferably on display in art galleries, but for me the excitement of exploring and discovering a new location, or capturing an image from a different viewpoint is what keeps me interested.
I'll never stop learning and hopefully improving, but that's part of the attraction for me. A constantly moving challenge that can never be achieved, and that's fine, I'm happy chasing the dream.
